The analysts of the famous British “Economist” newspaper are sure that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will keep strengthening his positions in the system of state governance by gradually depriving his father’s teammates of the government. Instead Aliyev will appoint his team members to key positions. “There is a little risk that the re-arrangements within the government will create certain conflicts in the political elite of Azerbaijan,” predict the experts of the “Economist”. The economic predictions of the Britishn weekly are quite optimistic for the ruling elite of Azerbaijan. According to the “Economist” in 2006 the GDP of Azerbaijan will amount to 28%. The main factor of such growth is connected with the natural gas that Azerbaijan produces. Besides this, the experts claim that the number of investments will increase in Azerbaijan.
