Former plenipotentiary adviser to Russian Ombudsman Arbak Khachatryan was recently released from the Lefortovo jail. He had been accused of financially supporting presidential candidate Artashes Geghamyan during the 2003 presidential elections in Armenia and was arrested in Moscow. At the time, rumors were flying around that Khachatryan was sending the money to his family doctor and citizen of Russia Yuri Ryabtsyev.
