“ARMENIA” didn’t want to

Robert Kocharyan’s interview with some television networks a couple of days ago was pretty startling. The president of Armenia didn’t really make any negative remarks about any oppositional party or anyone, for that matter, and was not off topic. The only television networks that had been invited were “H1”, “H2” and a network from Artsakh. “ARMENIA TV”, which is as pro-government as “H1” and “H2”, was not invited to the interview. However, press speaker for the president of Armenia Victor Soghomonyan said today that there was no intention. According to Soghomonyan, it’s just that only those networks had asked Kocharyan for an interview; thus, they were the only ones present.

“If other television networks were to ask for interviews, they would be invited too,” said V. Soghomonyan.
