Leonid Yengibarov is the pride and joy of Armenians. By assimilating circus and pantomime he created a completely new stage for genre, brief and philosophical mime performance. Yengibarov was a man and a legend, innovative and talented, who besides his revolutionary circus performance has also left a rich literary legacy. He also had a great army of admirers and successors. In our Saturday newspaper edition, we will specially present Yengibarov’s life and death, his photographs and three novels, as well as a story about his stage costume and handwritten archives.
