President of the Armenian union in Russia and the
World Armenian Congress Ara Abrahamyan stated yesterday that he is
disappointed in the Armenian authorities. He thinks that they should do
everything they can for foreign businessmen to feel safe doing business
in Armenia. “I don’t have any investments to make. Armenian authorities
have to do all they can to get investments,” said Mr. Abrahamyan and
affirmed that he is “investing millions” in Armenia and that despite
the relations he has with some officials he is not thinking about
leaving. As for getting involved in politics, Mr. Abrahamyan said: “I
am not thinking about going into politics. There is no line for me to
stand in and wait.”
