“If I say yes you will say no…”, this is how the newly elected rector of the State Medical University of Yerevan Gohar Kyalyan answered to the journalists’ question on whether the results of the elections were not decided beforehand. She said that for her election she’s going to thank neither her husband, director of “H2” TV Company Samvel Mayrapetyan nor the newly appointed Chief of Staff of RA President, Armen Gevorgyan, who jointly implements business projects with Kyalyan’s husband. She denied the rumors that Gevorgyan is their godfather. She only said, “Gevorgyan is one of our good friends”. She was stricter about her husband, “I was a doctor of science even before I got married to Mayrapetyan. I will do my best to make sure that at least in a year the journalists start to say that Samvel Mayrapetyan is Gohar Kyalyan’s husband and not vice versa.”
