The RA foreign affairs minister Vardan Oskanyan touched upon the murder of Armenian spy Gurgen Markaryan by the Azerbaijani National-Democratic political party and considered Azerbaijan declaring Ramil Safarov the “Man of the Year” as “Azerbaijan’s style”. “It is a pity that they give a title of “the man of the year” to a murderer, and what’s worse is that he is not condemned by the president of their country. This means that Azerbaijan is far from resolving the Karabakh conflict”, says Vardan Oskanyan. According to him these kinds of announcements can never lay grounds for resolving the conflict. Of course they may say that this was done only by one party, but not officially by the authorities of the country, but according to Vardan Oskanyan their authorities don’t condemn this crime and this means that they agree with it.
