Recently, head of the RA Central Bank Tigran Sargsyan said that several banks “don’t agree with the new rules of the game” regarding the principle of corporative management. He also said that those banks would be punished. The mentioned principle is as follows: “Banks can’t be run by one person only”. During our conversation with the head of AGBA bank Stepan Gishyan he said that their bank was not one of those banks. Mr. Gishyan thinks that there are no banks that don’t agree with this new positive principle because it is already partly applied in Armenia. So who is the CB going to punish?
