According to “ITAR-TASS”, deputy-minister of emergencies of North Ossetia Vladimir Ivanov informed that, due to the snow the main highway connecting Russia with Southern Caucasus is closed. The highway might open today. “The road was closed due to snow over night. The snow is cleaned, however, the highway is still closed because the specialists are shooting the slopes of mountains, where there is a lot of snow”, yesterday said V. Ivanov.
