Recently NA Speaker Artur Baghdasarayan had a meeting with the Chairman of the “Alliance” Party Samvel Babayan. The Chairman of the Legal State party offered Mr. Babayan to participate in the coming parliamentary elections by making an alliance. Mr. Babayan did not give an exact response to the suggestion but promised to think about it. Also, last week S. Babayan had a meeting with a few American diplomats and ensured them that he has a great mission to accomplish in the current political field. He said that he’s going to make sure that no party becomes a majority in the parliament in 2007. Babayan’s extreme confidence amazed the American diplomats. While speaking with certain representatives of the opposition the diplomats said that they wondered what resources the “Alliance” would use to hinder other parties.
