We asked the head of the parliamentary group of the “Republican” party whether the West would oblige any solution regarding the Karabakh conflict during the presidents’ meeting in February and he said: “Of course the West may have some problems, but I think the West is not the main focus here and everyone will not join them to pressure Armenia. But this depends on our behavior and our approach to the arrangements that will be presented during the open discussion. There are no guarantees that the conflict solution will be reached in 2006”.
