A couple of days ago, a suicide took place in the second defense area
of Karabagh. According to preliminary details, the soldier has hanged
himself from a military unit barrier. Meanwhile, there are suspicions
that this was no suicide. Someone had killed the soldier and hanged him
to make it look like a suicide. There are cuts on the soldier’s arms
and a deep cut on the neck. The press secretary of the Ministry of
Defense Seyran Shahsuvaryan affirms that this case is still in the
preliminary investigation stage and there are no exact details. The
press secretary claimed that this was most probably a suicide, not a
murder because people who commit suicide usually cut their veins, which
is clearly seen on the soldier. In response to the question of why
there were cuts on the neck, Mr. Shahsuvaryan said that no comment can
be made because nothing is proven yet. This case is under prosecution
by military prosecutor Gagik Jangiryan, who is currently in Karabagh.
Mr. Jangiryan has said that he will be present during the time when the
case will be revealed.
