The law on “Trade and services” has been passed since January 1, 2006. The violators of the law will have to pay a 10.000-20.000 AMD fine. Street trade and street sale of natural gas will be forbidden. According to the decree of the Mayor, street trade will be supervised by the RA Police along with the local governments. Yesterday the head of the Trade and Service Department of the City Council of Yerevan informed that certain pavilions will be dissembled and new ones will be installed. The sale of funeral items will be moved from the streets to special areas next to the cemeteries.
