The police department of Abovyan city has instituted legal proceedings against a citizen of Charentsavan, Ashot Isakhanyan. The reason is that he presented a document to the mayor of Ararat city, Hakob Tovmasyan stating that he was representing a body that was occupied in philanthropic activities and he was there to collect money for war participants’ families. The mayor proposed and the city council disposed to help them and give them 300.000 dram. Later it turned out that Isakhanyan had taken money for the same reason from the director of “Araratshin” OJSC, Hovhannes Tovmasyan.
