During a press conference held a couple of days ago, Defense Minister of the Republic of Nagorno Karabagh Seyran Ohanyan announced that much has been done towards providing the families of soldiers and deceased soldiers with homes. The Ministry has provided nearly 750 million drams for urbanization.
“110 soldiers have received homes and the rest will receive homes by the end of January. Homes worth 300 million drams have been built for the families of soldiers that have died,” said the Minister of Defense.
While talking about projects for 2006, he said that the ministry was going to double the amount spent on urbanization. The ministry has provided 1 billion 20 million drams for building homes for soldiers and another 600 million drams will go to building homes for the families who have lost their children in the war.
