On January 18 an Armenian war prisoner, who was imprisoned in Azerbaijan, returned back to Armenia due to the efforts of the International Red Cross Committee. This process took place on the road between Ghazakh city of Azerbaijan and Ijevan city of Armenia. The Armenian and Azeri authorities offered the Red Cross to do this as an independent party. Before taking these actions the representatives of the Red Cross found out whether the prisoner wished to return. In case of need the Red Cross representatives are ready to help if anything like this happens again.
