The former member of the “Republic” party council Vahan Babayan explained his decision to leave the party by saying that he was disappointed in some oppositional leaders. Recently V. Babayan made the following comparison: “When Condolezza Rice dropped her membership in the Democratic party and joined the Republican party, journalists asked her why she did so, to which she answered: “People in the Democratic party looked at me as just a member of the party, but in the Republican party people looked at me as an individual””.
