These days one of the most discussed issues is the issue of the ombudsman’s position. While Larisa Alaverdyan hopes to be nominated by the oppositional power for this position in spring and will be able to get her office and car back, the authorities have already decided who the next ombudsman is going to be. In other words, by the order of the president the coalition will nominate the rector of the State Management Academy Armen Harutyunyan for this position. And definitely everyone agrees that in this case his candidacy will be approved at the National Assembly. Armen Harutyunyan answered to the question of our correspondent concerning his expectations: “You shouldn’t ask me that. I can’t say whether it is possible or not”. By the way, they have also decided who is going to work in the position of the State Management Academy rector. This position will be given to “Legal State” party member, RA territorial substructures management deputy minister and NA vice speaker Gagik Aslanyan. We hope that this time Gagik Aslanyan will have a place to work in and will not use their party office as a working room any more.
