Some politicians say that about two months ago Raffi Hovhannisyan sent a personal letter to one of the opposition leaders and informed him that some American authorities wanted to meet him and talk about serious issues. However, this opposition leader refused the offer and said if there was a need to organize such a meeting those officials could invite him with the help of the US ambassador John Evans, but not with the help of Raffi Hovhannisyan. Some people say that the American services wanted to connect the requisition-letter that was sent by Raffi Hovhannisyan with the name of this leader, but they failed.
