What does Lukashenko have that I don’t?

Yesterday Russia and Belarus came to an agreement regarding Russia’s conditions for gas provision to Belarus in 2006. The fact that the gas price provided to Belarus remains the same is explained in the following way by Russia – the gas pipeline belongs to “Gazprom” and the land that the pipeline is built on is leased by this company for a long period of time. Belarus is different for Russia. We are the ones that suffered the most; our population will suffer as a result of the new gas price the most. With this mind, it is funny to mention the words of the RA Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan. After the Kocharyan-Putin meeting in Sochi Mr. Movsisyan said that Russia had proposed the most reasonable price to us and that the gas price offered to other countries was much higher.
