The Russian Supreme Court has made a decision to justify Viacheslav Ivankov (known as “Yaponchik” in the criminal world). The public prosecutor’s office had instituted legal proceedings against Yaponchik in connection with the murder of two citizens of Turkey in a restaurant in 1992 and the Supreme Court rejected this application on December 14.
