According to “Trend” news agency, the Turkish “Youksel Domonic” company has analyzed the possibilities of constructing Kars-Akhalkalak-Tbilisi-Baku railway and presented their final statement to the Transportation Ministry of Azerbaijan. The transportation ministers of Turkey and Azerbaijan and the economical development minister of Georgia will meet in Turkey in 2006 to discuss issues regarding their further cooperation and terms of the railway construction. According to preliminary calculations, they will have to invest 400 million dollars to construct the proposed Kars-Akhalkalak-Tbilisi-Baku railway.
