According to “Zerkalo” newspaper edition, president of the “Return to Western Azerbaijan” NGO Rizvan Talibov announced that the Azeri that took refuge in Armenia when they had the chance must receive autonomy in Armenia. “The Azeri who took refuge in Armenia must receive autonomy there, which is sort of like the autonomy granted to them by Armenians in Karabagh,” said Talibov. He also announced that the people that left Azerbaijan after 1988 have left property worth 50 billion dollars and that issue must be solved by the international organizations. He also worries about the 30,000 Armenian women currently living in Armenia who have married Azeri men. “There is no Azeri living in Armenia at the present. Why do Armenians have to live in Azerbaijan? We believe that the workers that have Armenian women should be removed from the positions they hold,” said Talibov and called the journalists to “reveal who those Azeri citizens were that are so into Armenian women.”
