The “Hayastan” All Armenia Fund planned on raising 7-7,5 million dollars during “Telethon-2005” in order to start constructions in the Martakert region of Karabakh. The fund raised more than 7,700,000 dollars this year. Louise Simone Manoukyan donated one million dollars and head of Russian Armenian’s Union Ara Abrahamyan donated 250 thousand dollars to the foundation account. The sum that was donated from Armenia and Artsakh covered 1,200 thousand dollars. The sum that was donated from France, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal and Spain made up 1,200 thousand dollars. The Armenian Diaspora of Lebanon donated 100,000 dollars, the Diaspora of Argentina donated 51 thousand dollars and the Diaspora of Great Britain donated 31 thousand dollars. The fundraising still continues and people are still donating.
