Recently representative of Belgium in the OSCE delegation and senator Pier Shevalie said during their visit to Baku: “The conflict of Karabakh will be solved either in 2006, or never”. According to him the EU, European Council and OSCE were going to do their best to support the regulation of this conflict. According to Mr. Shevalie, if the problem is not solved in 2006, the parties will not have a chance to solve it later due to the upcoming events in both countries connected with elections.
