In regard to the announcement made by the director of Yerevan zoo that even the elephant would vote “for the constitution”, on Saturday Artashes Geghamyan said in Vanadzor: “He could even say that the bear was coming here by train to vote “for” the Constitutional Draft”. Concerning the coalition he said that if someone could find a person of principal character he would appreciate that. By the way some people from other parties kept his company too. One of them informed our correspondent that there was no pressure on them to vote either “yes” or “no” for the Constitutional Draft and that they kept the company of Artashes Geghamyan just to back him morally.
