On November 10, the monument dedicated to the “Founding Fathers of the Holy Cross City”, located in the Budyonovsk city of Russia’s Stavropol territory, has been destroyed. The monument was considered to be a monument symbolizing Armenian-Russian relations. This is the third time that something like this is happening in Russia this year. “There are certain forces that are not interested in keeping this monument, but rather want to see it in ruins. In that case, let the ruins remain,” said head of the Armenian community of the city Petros Mkrtchyan according to “Territory” newspaper.
