“The European Union will increase the aid to Armenia by 25% up to 15 million Euros,” announced the European Council president Herman Van Rompuy in a recent joint interview given with the president of Armenia. “We have started negotiations on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. The process of easing visa procedures started in February. With this spirit I am announcing here that our assistance to Armenia will be increased by 25% up to 15 million Euros and that assistance will be used for the purpose of main reforms and supporting Armenia on the way to the association agreement,” said the European diplomat during his regional visit stop in Yerevan.
