“The West is paying more attention to Georgia due to their more powerful geopolitical voice, as it has energetic resources and is richer than Armenia. From this prospective, unfortunately Armenia is ignored,” said the British Chatham House’s expert James Nixie, who is the author of a recent report on Russia and South Caucasus. “Armenia’s democratic health is not in a good condition now and in fact the US does not care about it. They have bigger issues now; the US was disappointed about the relations with Russia and I don’t think they care about Armenia’s democratic development,” he said.
