“I think it is positive that the ANC is in the parliament because I believe that alliance is an important part of our political life,” said RPA representative MP Gagik Minasyan during a recent press-conference. The MP thinks that the relations with the ANC in the parliament will be constructive. “As for the PA, I think that every party makes own decision where to be. Future will show the processes that will happen out of the parliament. During the elections you saw how the PA participated in committee votes. This is their own estimation to their role, which is constructive policy,” said Minasyan and added that the memorandum signed with the PA in February of the previous year was still in force, according to which during the presidential election 2013 they will endorse the candidacy of Serzh Sargsyan. In answer to question whether the memorandum would not stop working after the parliamentary elections on May 6 Minasyan said, “As far as Mr. Tsarukyan has not announced about it, it means no.”
