According to our information, the discontent in the PA party concerning the possibility of a coalition with the RPA is growing. Former foreign minister Vartan Oskanyan announced that he would not undertake responsibility under an artificial coalition. The fourth person in the PA’s list, Gurgen Arsenyan is against a coalition with the RPA too. According to our information, in fact there are more people within the PA that are against coalition with the RPA and currently Vartan Oskanyan is working to convene a separate group in the parliament. According to our reliable sources from the PA’s close circles, besides Arsenyan and Oskanyan, the candidates being in the 7th, 9th and 11th places in the PA’s proportional list (Vahe Hovhannisyan, Hmayak Hovhannisyan and Elinar Vardanyan) are against such possibility too. It is not excluded that in case if the PA becomes a part of the coalition with RPA, the mentioned five people may resign from the PA faction but not drop the mandates. We were not able to get any information from the PA because during these days nobody wants to make comments or say anything. However, we have information that in order to prevent the possible separation of the PA’s parliamentary faction during negotiations the PA leader suggested president Sargsyan to make Vartan Oskanyan speaker of the parliament. Rumors say that Oskanyan is not against this possibility.
