Which coalition will the PAP prefer?

As it was expected, yesterday with about two-hour intervals the rally of the ANC and PAP took place. Both of the rallies were quite crowded but it’s hard to say which party helped the other because the people with the PAP posters wouldn’t possibly show in the ANC rally. However, judging from yesterday’s speech of Ter-Petrosyan this opportunity shouldn’t have been excluded. “In case of a favorable correlation of forces, a new, real governing coalition could be formed in the next National Assembly, replacing the false coalitions that have existed until now and been always dominated by the Republican Party (RPA),” Ter-Petrosyan told thousands of supporters of his Armenian National Congress rallying in Yerevan. “The Armenian National Congress does not exclude its participation in a real coalition, while categorically rejecting any cooperation with the Republican and Legal State parties which it considers to be our country’s main evil,” he said. And it’s evident that he first of all means the coalition with the PAP. This can be claimed in the light of the fact that during yesterday’s rally Ter-Petrosyan had lauded the initiative of the PAP to be active in the joint oversight committee. This is especially strange in the case when the ANC compliments a party, the leader of which only a few days ago stated that his party would endorse Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy during the next presidential elections. Let’s also remember that unlike Ter-Petrosyan, Tsarukyan hasn’t excluded the possibility of forming a coalition with the RPA.
