Who will participate in the debut of May 7?

The Prosperous Armenia party will record the voting process on May 6 from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m. in all the 1982 precincts of Armenia, that is the ballot counting. This was informed by the campaign office of the PA. The campaign also points out that the party won’t pay any money for cameras and that the cameras will be brought by the party poll-watchers. This “technical” detail is very important because even the most moderate cost of 1982 cameras may reach hundreds of thousands of dollars, which may come to the attention of the authorized bodies if the situation develops in a not very favorable manner for them. The filming and recording process of the voting and ballot counting is indeed very important especially in light of the assumptions of exaggerated voter lists and possible violations as a result of that. Of course, due to filming it will become possible to compare the results of the CEC about the number of voted ballots and the rest of the election procedures with the evidence provided by the cameras. However, it is also important who will be filming the process and who will have the recording after the elections. Here there are many questions that need to be clarified. Having been a member of the ruling coalition, having been using almost all the resources of the government, the PA together with the ANC and ARF participates in the activities of the joint oversight committee. In the meantime seemingly the PA at least on the perfunctory level continues expressing its loyalty to the RPA and Serzh Sargsyan (after each harsh statement of Vardan Oskanyan the PA often in the person of Gagik Tsarukyan responds by saying that Oskanyan was expressing his own opinion). It means that the PA takes on certain roles of the opposition by staying in the government and not colliding with Sargsyan and his team. It is evident that the PA cares about the legality of the election process as much as the ballots given to the party are of the liking of the party leadership. The question is how will the results of the recording be used after the PA is satisfied by the number of ballots it receives after elections? Or will the recordings of all the 1982 precincts ever be used? Also, we should find out what parties the PA will invite to watch these videos – ANC, RPA or ARF?
