“The ruling party is the most tolerant in this phase,” said NA vice speaker Edward Sharmazanov to radio Liberty concerning the first part of the campaign. “Certainly the RPA does not go against anyone during this campaign and does not blackmail either,” said Sharmazanov commenting on a recent cases of blackmailing and other critics on part of other pro-government parties, who have forgotten during this campaign that in the past that there were a part of the ruling government and bear responsibility for things too. “There are people who are government till the lunch time, and afternoon after the lunch they are opposition,” said Sharmazanov. In answer to question whether he meant the PA Sharamazanov said, “I mean all those people who want to be free of responsibility. One thing is clear that in politics there are no “semi” situations and statuses. You can be either with the government or opposition. There is no third option.” The other interesting thing is that the opposition is using double standards when criticizing the government. “The non-parliamentary opposition, which claims to be struggling against the criminal and oligarchic system, has adopted a selective approach to political powers. They are criticizing a part of the coalition and refraining from critics concerning the other part. It seems that in two regions life has been great, in several ministries everything has been perfect, but in the others it was bad. However, I am more concerned about another thing. Unfortunately I have to mention that the first president of my country, who is also the leader of the congress, has managed to cross all the limit of correctness during meetings with voters and make announcements that may harm our national security.”
