By the order of Shant TV company the Russian Center for Public Opinion Survey (RCPOS) has conducted a survey concerning the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia. In answer to question who they would vote for if elections were to take place this Sunday, 32% said they would vote for the RPA, 27% – for PA, 5% – for LS, 4% for Heritage and ARF parties, 3% – for ANC and 2% – for the CPA. According to the general director of this center Valery Fyodorov, the survey was done on April 4-13 in the entire territory of Armenia, and the rate of inaccuracy was 2,5%. According to him, the most active political power in campaign is the Prosperous Armenia party. The survey covered 1,600 people, and 54% out of them said that they had seen the PA’s campaign and 83% liked it. According to this survey, the RPA is in the second place. “45% of the respondents said that they had seen it and 75% out of them liked the campaign,” said Fyodorov. The third one is the LS. In answer to question which of the political powers would be elected in the parliament 90% of the respondents said the PA, 88% – RPA, 50% – LS, 31 – ARF and 22% – Heritage party. “We don’t know how those people will vote in reality. The human being is contradicting in nature. If there are contradicting data, we should not be afraid of it,” said Fyodorov. According to his findings, the RPA will collect the 39% of the votes of decided voters, and the PA – 36%. The LS will overcome the limit of 5% and will collect 7% of votes, the Heritage will be given 6%, and the ARF – 5% of votes. According to him, currently the PA and ANC powers are working on the displeased groups of the society, and if the ANC does not criticize and does not work against the PA, it is better for the PA.
