Yesterday the RA trade and economy development minister Karen Chshmarityan advised journalists not to be interested in wondering who those new people that make investments in Armenia are. “ For example have a look at this hotel. Is it nice? (he refers to Golden Palace hotel). So you don’t need to know who the owner is. It is not important who the owner is”, – said Karen Chshmarityan. It is worth to mention that several months ago Hayk Chshmarityan (he is the relative of Karen Chshmarityan) said during our conversation with him that he was the real owner of “Golden Palace” hotel. We were interested in how a state officer could get 180.000 dram salary per month and have enough to construct this kind of luxury hotel. Several months ago H. Chshmarityan answered to this question: “this is my hotel and it is nobody’s business”. Then H. Chshmarityan had to leave his position. And now the trade and economy minister advices not to be interested in who those people that make investments are.
