Ilham Aliev was sad to learn during his phone conversation with Viktor Youshchenko about the fact that Rasoul Gouliev (ex speaker of the parliament of Azerbaijan) had been set free in Ukraine. Guliev was arrested on October 17 at the airport of Simferopol on the basis of the application of the police department board of Azerbaijan. But on October 20 the civil court made proceedings against that application and set Guliev free. “The society of Azerbaijan is surprised and disappointed with the fact that a person that has stolen 117 million USD, that is investigated and is a famous representative of international Mafia was set free”, -said Ilham Aliev.
