Legal State party wants trouble

12/11/2011

In Saturday the LS party leadership, being lead by the chief of party Artur Baghdasaryan, organized an event in Gyumri, which looked very much like a pre-election campaign. We apologize to our readers for writing the name of LS party and politics with each other because they seem to be far away from each other. In consideration of the beginning of the pre-election period and the current political situation, the activities of this party are becoming very interesting. The LS is trying to trade with the coalition and increase its mandates from 3 to, for example, 4 or 5 places in the RPA pre-election list. On Saturday during the mentioned meeting in Gyumri LS member MP Hovhannes Margaryan made the following announcement: “We are not bloody people; the most important thing is that we are honored people who respect fairness.” Certainly no one in that place tried to explain to the MP that the terms he used there (honor and fairness) are as far from the LS as it is close to the government’s wealth box. As it is time to define the places of parties near the government’s wealth box, the LS is trying to increase its price, i.e. it is trying to increase something that does not exist. “We go to church and light candles with clear face because there are no hooligans and thieves among us,” said Margaryan. Of course Margaryan did not explain who he meant by saying thieves and hooligans, but the meaning he said is mostly met with the people in their coalition partner parties such as the PA and RPA. This means that the LS has decided to quietly make the authorities understand that they are not satisfied with what they are offered. It is not known yet what the LS will reach with these actions and what their benefit will be, but it would be good to take them out of the coalition, even if it is done for pleasure. It will be interesting, very interesting to see how Artur Baghdasaryan will put on the mask of an oppositionist again.
