The recent publications in WikiLeaks concerning Armenia are unprecedented both with the capacity and content. These publications concern both the past and incumbent authorities, thus they will have a significant effect on political processes and the internal political life, especially during the upcoming elections. There is an interesting and meanwhile sad component in those publications. In fact the publications both about the current authorities and about the incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, former president Kocharyan were no news for the society and everyone knows what they are capable for and who they are. Even more, during the past two years the society even don’t rely on these two presidents and they hope Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s opposition movement can change something. The largest discoveries of the WikiLeaks concern the former president Levon Ter-Petrosyan and his activities within the Armenian National Congress led by him. Even from the moral point of view it is hard to read how Ter-Petrosyan and his people explained and justified their activities such as the issues of sending the participants of demonstrations home or keeping them, Karabakh conflict settlement and their support to the authorities for a settlement version that they used to call a treason, etc. Certainly the ANC people may say that this was done for only one goal, which is the replacement of the government. Even if it was so, Levon Ter-Petrosyan could at least announce that for him the ‘goal justifies the means’.
