Government should be changed

“We are tired of wars, political murders, which we witnessed at the parliament. The revolutionary ways mostly jolt our society. It creates hostility, mutual distrust and it doesn’t bring solidarity. It means that we should change ourselves and the government should be changed. That way we can move forward,” yesterday told our reporter the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan when responding to the question why his thoughts on reforms, which were heard for years, never become reality. When speaking to journalists about overcoming monopolies and fighting corruption Sargsyan often asks for the help of media. Does this mean that he is powerless in the fight with this negative phenomenon and needs a support from outside in order to withstand the opposition from inside the government? Having not denied this observation he responded, “Without the support of the society no change can come to its logical accomplishment because if we don’t want corruption the society should be ready for that.” From his statements it turns out that to a certain extent it is the fault of the society for not helping the government. It is not as difficult to imagine the reaction of the government in this regard as it is difficult to imagine how difficult it is to present Tigran Sargsan in eloquent Armenian.
