“I have participated in all large actions in the war, thus I am against of giving even one inch of land. All war participants will be against that. If they give the lands, Karabakh will not be given a status. That is the reason I am against any compromise,” said former political prisoner, ANC member Sasun Mikayelyan during yesterday’s press-conference. In answer to question whether his opinion is not against Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s opinion to give lands he said, “There is no conflict of interests with the leader. The leader proposed a general idea of making compromises. As a war participant I am against the idea of giving lands. If there is a draft for discussion, I will express my opinion. If we solve the problem with this version, the situation will be like with Nakhijevan and we will lose Karabakh as well,” said Sasun Mikayelyan.
