Yesterday the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Marie Yovanovitch, visited the office of “Free democrats” where she met the party leaders. According to the press representative of the party “Free democrats” they discussed Armenia’s internal and external political problems, democracy and civil society development issues. There was a mutual consensus about the importance of perspectives of the development of democratic values in Armenia and the role of public participation in the decision-making process. It should be noted that the leader of “Free democrats” is the previous deputy president of ANM Khachatur Kokobelyan.
