The Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan gave an interview to the Russian Moskovskiye Novosti newspaper, in which he did not exclude the possibility of war resumption in Nagorno Karabkh conflict zone. “I think it is possible because I can’t understand why Azerbaijan is postponing the negotiation process. Definitely they have plans to collect more power and resources to make military adventure at a convenient time,” Said Serzh Sargsyan. “This is not the right approach because in such situation the processes may develop in two scenarios: first, total war with further occupation of Karabakh, which may be possible only after total annihilation of the people of Karabakh, and second, Azerbaijan will lose the war and will lose new territories. After that Azerbaijan will start complaining about having lost 5, 6 or other regions and what else? Again ceasefire, new war… All these scenarios have no sense,” said the president of Armenia.
