The positive messages of the authorities targeted at the Armenian National Congress continue, and what is more interesting, according to the rules of Constitutional subordination. In the beginning the president announced about cooperation of “strong government and opposition”, later on May 9 the speaker of the NA Hovik Abrahamyan appreciated the dialogue with the opposition, and now it is the prime-minister’s turn. “We respect any proposition and announcement of the opposition because it is their right and they use that right under the rules of political struggle,” said Tigran Sargsyan when answering to questions of journalists in the parliament. These words on part of the PM are very interesting in the context of the opposition’s 15 demands, in which they also demanded from the authorities to dismiss a number of high rank officials, including the prime-minister. In answer to question whether he is ready to resign as a result of dialogue between the opposition and authorities Tigran Sargsyan said, “Do you know any opposition in the world that does not demand the resignation of the government and does not chase that goal? To me it is normal”.
