“The authorities are now satisfied with keeping this situation as it is, having this kind of opposition and going to the parliament with the existing proportion of powers. I believe that this fake balance will collapse if not in the fall, at least in spring,” said former speaker of the parliament, MP Tigran Torosyan when commenting on the dialogue between the ANC and authorities. According to him, there will be new developments because neither of the two parties will be satisfied with that balance. “Currently both the authorities and the ANC are trying to manoeuvre under the cover of “environment of tolerance” with the hope that it will make their work easier during the upcoming elections,” said Tigran Torosyan.
