By an order issued by president Serzh Sargsyan amendment has been made to the RA president’s Order NH-107-A on ‘Approving the members of the national security council’ dated May 4, 2008. According to this amendment, the following has been added to the text: “Head of the NA Prosperous Armenia faction”. The president’s spokesman informs that the head of the Prosperous Armenia faction Gagik Tsarukyan has been included in the National Security Council. The NSC consists of the secretary of the National Security Council, the speaker of the parliament, the prime-minister, defense minister, the head of the president’s administration, general prosecutor, the head of the national security service, the police chief and the head of the general headquarter of the armed forces. No other parliamentary faction head is included in the NSC.
