“On these days representatives from over 20 political parties approached us and offered us to establish a new “congress,” which would be no worse than the Armenian National Congress with its human resources and political quality,” told our reporter the deputy-chair of Heritage party Ruben Hakobyan. He however didn’t wish to mention which of the parties agreed to form a new congress. Hakobyan merely said that such a structure will not be established, “On our agenda we don’t have anything like including an artificially big number of people in the congress to brag about the numbers. We don’t have the need to prove anything to anyone. So I personally don’t think that the formation of artificial congresses and unions is a serious playing card in the political field.”
