The economic index of this month compared the previous February month amounted to 1.4%. This is mentioned in the statement of the National Statistics Service issued yesterday. Let us remember that in January compared to January of the previous year the economic index was 7.7%. As of the sectors of economy separately then besides construction (the volumes reduced by 4.1%) in all the other sectors this February certain growth was registered compared to the same month of the previous year. Industry grew by 2.6%, agriculture – by 0.1%, trade turnout – 0.1%. The services sector scored the highest rates – 6.3%.
