The OSCE co-chairmen Bernard Fasier, Igor Popov, Robert Bradke and the acting president representative Anjey Kasprchik have met with the defense minister of Azerbaijan, during which the Azeri defense minister said, “Even though the OSCE MG has given no results, we still have some hope with it.” He also said that Azerbaijan “was seriously getting prepared for liberating the lands”. Yesterday the RA defense ministry spokesman Davit Karapetyan commented on the rhetoric of Abiyev and said, “Of course it is natural that when commenting on the statements of the Armenian defense ministry the Azeri officials cannot hide their worries. Anyway it is hard to understand the aggressive approach of the Azeri defense minister when he announces about making a war again during a meeting with international mediators that are seeking peace.”
