What will ”satisfy” the opposition?

01/11/2005

”When people are added to the voters’ lists, the opposition protests; but when the list is shortened, they still protest. I am interested in knowing what will happen? Do the existing lists satisfy them? Can we come to that conclusion?” said vice-president of the National Assembly Tigran Torosyan. According to him, the opposition also looks at the constitutional amendments the same way. “If they are not satisfied with the proposed plan, does that mean that the existing constitution is satisfactory? On the day of the referendum, people are either going to vote for the existing constitution or the amendments. There is no other choice.”
